Stephen R. H. Lewis specializes in personal injury, product liability, consumer protection, and insurance litigation and is a managing partner at Covington, Patrick, Hagins, Stern & Lewis, P.A.

Stephen earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1989. Stephen was a member of the USC Law School Trial Competition Team that represented South Carolina in Regional Trial competitions. In 1994, Greenville Magazine selected him as one of “Greenville’s Best and Brightest 35 & Under.” He is listed in "Best Lawyers" and has recently been accepted into ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates).

He has served as an original court-appointed member of the 13th Circuit Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee that developed an Alternative Dispute Resolution process, which was ultimately adopted by the South Carolina Supreme Court and has been implemented in most judicial circuits throughout the state.

As a guest speaker, Stephen has provided expert legal advice at the 13th Circuit Solicitors Convention and the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association Convention as well as the S.C. Association of Legal Investigators Convention.
